Harvest Wind Farm - Just east of Pigeon, the largest renewable energy wind farm in the state of Michigan began operation in late 2007. Developed by John Deere Wind Energy the 32 Vestas wind turbines stand over 250 feet (80 meters) tall and develop over 50 Megawatts of electricity (enough electricity to power over 15,000 homes).
